AFD visits Cabo Verde’s shipyards to strengthen maritime cooperation
On 8 May, Cabnave – Estaleiros Navais de Cabo Verde welcomed a delegation from the French Development Agency (AFD), as part of the agency’s official mission to the country. The visit aimed at strengthening the blue ports partnership in Cabo Verde by assessing ongoing projects and exploring potential support to the maritime sector.
During the visit, the delegation met with members of the CABNAVE Board of Directors and the Administrative and Financial Director, toured the shipyard’s facilities, and learned about the key projects underway. This visit aligns with AFD’s strategy of supporting transformative initiatives in Cabo Verde, particularly through the promotion of sustainable maritime infrastructures under the “blue ports” concept.
