Cabnave – Estaleiros Navais de Cabo Verde, s.a. has reinforced its commitment to the preservation of Pedra de Doca. This sponsorship is due to the proximity and importance of Pedra de Doca to the city of Mindelo and to the company.

The commitment was formalised on Tuesday with the placing of the plaque identifying him as the beach’s godfather.

With this formalisation, Cabnave is committed to cleaning the beach, promoting and raising awareness of ocean conservation and investing in improving access to the site.

The Minister for the Sea, Abraão Vicente, was present at the symbolic unveiling of the plaque as godfather of the dock stone in São Vicente.
